VISITING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (Peoria) is a 750-bed tertiary care center which serves as the primary teaching hospital for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Located approximately 150 miles southwest of Chicago, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is a major referral center serving over 2 ½ million central Illinois residents. This large referral base makes for a sophisticated "high-tech" medical community resulting in over 4,000 Interventional Radiology procedures annually. The Interventional Department provides a consulting service for all percutaneous vascular and non-vascular procedures, including those performed under CT and Ultrasound guidance.

The Department of Radiology offers a one-week visiting fellowship approved for 40 Category I CME credit hours for Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Radiology Residents. The fellowship involves the diagnosis and percutaneous treatment of vascular and non-vascular disease. This includes case observations, attendance at departmental and interdepartmental conferences, case review and discussion of patient management issues.
