Dr. Brinkman received her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine (Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine), Iowa City, Iowa in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Brinkman chose to specialize in Radiology and completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria), Peoria, Illinois from 2004-2009. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Madison, Wisconsin from 2009-2010.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Brinkman holds permanent medical licensures in Wisconsin and Illinois. She is a member of several professional organizations which include the American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, Radiologic Society of North America, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Brinkman joined Central Illinois Radiological Associates in July 2010.
